ROUNDCARE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE ("rSUDIN", "we", "us") is an Incorporated Trustee registered in Nigeria, with its office at No. 1, Opp Shiroro Hotel, Sauka Kahuta, Minna, Niger State. This policy explains what personal information we collect through rsudin.org, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
Information you give us
If you email us at info@rsudin.org, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write in the message. We use this only to reply to you and to keep a record of the correspondence.
If you donate, make a partnership enquiry, or apply to volunteer, we collect the details you send us for that purpose — for example your name, email address, phone number, and any information needed to issue a donation receipt.
Information collected automatically
Our web host records standard technical information each time a page is requested, including the IP address making the request, the browser and device type, the pages viewed, and the date and time. This is used to keep the site running and secure, and to understand roughly how many people visit.
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking, and we do not sell or rent anyone's information.
Photographs of people
Photographs on this site come from our programme work. We ask for spoken consent from every adult who is identifiable in a photograph before it is published, and written consent from a parent or guardian for anyone under 18.
If you appear in a photograph on this site and want it removed, email us and we will take it down. You do not need to give a reason.
Why we are allowed to hold this information
We rely on your consent when you contact us or agree to be photographed, on our legitimate interest in running the organisation and reporting on our work, and on legal obligation where donation and financial records must be kept.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is necessary: with service providers who operate our website and email on our behalf, with our auditors and regulators where the law requires it, and with donors or funders only in aggregate form that does not identify individuals.
We do not share the details of people pictured in or named in programme records with anyone outside rSUDIN without their agreement.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for the matter it concerns, and then deleted. Donation and financial records are kept for the period required by Nigerian law. Programme photographs and consent records are kept for as long as the images remain in use.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, and withdraw consent you have given. Exercising these rights is free and will not affect how we treat you.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Substantial changes will be noted on the page.
Contact us about your information
To ask what we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a concern about how we have handled your information, write to us. We aim to respond within 30 days.
